- Joseph Hodson Review added: 2018.07.08★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆A curious approach to customer service at this pub, having seen other reviews I have to assume they were having an off day! The only venue where I have ever been asked to inform staff that I have finished each course and I was made to feel rather uncomfortable about the fact that I had ordered their 3-course menu to eat outside. They "tend not to serve it in the garden" apparently! And bringing food out to the table was the absolute limit of service available, anything else was down to you. The food was good for the price and our children enjoyed the impressive adventure playground. Nothing like poor service to put a dampener on lunch unfortunately.
